The Office for Experiential Learning (OEL) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering (SoE) at UC Irvine has been established to collect, foster, and promote project-based learning and career readiness activities for UCI students, staff, and faculty.

The office will accomplish its mission by acknowledging and leveraging the on-going work of various groups in the SoE and by engaging corporate and community partners interested in direct and indirect workforce development. We seek to ensure that our students leave UCI with all the background, skills, and experiences they need to become successful engineers and by doing so, to support our industry and community partners.
There is something for everyone. OEL focuses its applied engineering and career readiness initiatives within 5 main categories shown below. We hope you will take a look at how you can benefit from connecting with the Office for Experiential Learning!
