Rotocraft Workshop #4 – VFS at UCI

Dear Engineering Students,

The Vertical Flight Society (VFS) at UCI is excited to invite you to the fourth session of our Rotorcraft Workshop Series! These workshops aim to introduce undergraduates to the fundamentals of rotorcraft design and technology through a series of mini-lectures led by industry professionals from the local industry. 

Led by James Bechler, Flight Simulation & Handling Qualities Engineer at Supernal, this session will cover key topics including: 

  • Rotorcraft Flight Dynamics
  • Flight Control Systems
  • Handling and Flight Qualities

James is a UCI alumni who has previously held similar roles at Bell Flight, General Atomics, and Systems Technology Inc. He holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from CSU Long Beach.
