Rotorcraft Workshop #5 – VFS at UCI

Dear Engineering Students,

The Vertical Flight Society (VFS) at UCI is thrilled to announce the fifth installment of our Rotorcraft Workshop Series! This ongoing series is designed to give undergraduates an introduction to rotorcraft design, technology, and industry, with insights directly from professionals working in the field.

In this session, we’re pleased to welcome Dr. Sergio Cecutta, Co-Founder & Partner at SMG Consulting LLC, who will be covering:

–  AAM Industry Insights
–  Advanced Rotorcraft Technologies
–  Career Opportunities

Sergio has been involved in the AAM industry since its early days and brings extensive experience from his work on programs like the Airbus A380 and Gulfstream G500/600. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA, and has supported numerous companies with strategy, M&A, and market analysis. As a previous executive at Honeywell, Sergio has since founded SMG Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in the aerospace, defense, and autotech industry.
