Dear Undergraduate Engineering Students,
Concrete Canoe Team Applications are still open and are due at the end of Friday Week 5, so a week from today!!
Concrete Canoe is an annual project where we design and build a canoe made out of concrete. Following the construction of the canoe, we race it at an annual competition known as PSWS (Pacific Southwest Symposium) under the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). We would love to invite all undergraduate engineering students who are interested in this project to apply and get hands-on experience outside of your engineering classes!
As a Captain or Intern of the UCI Concrete Canoe team, you would be responsible for multiple tasks, stated further in the application. Captains would be eligible to receive unit credit for Fall and Winter. After applications are submitted, interviews will be held, so make sure to make us aware of your availability in your application.
If you have any questions at all, or would like to know anything about the project, please feel free to email ewildt@uci.edu or ccasceuci@gmail.com!

Warm regards,
The UCI Concrete Canoe Team
