The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Student Branch at UCI will be hosting a resume and engineering portfolio workshop on December 3rd at EG 3161 starting at 6:00 PM! This is a great opportunity to study with fellow peers and get help on any topics you may be struggling with, especially with finals week approaching! UCI Chem-E-Car Project Freshman Recruitment is Now Open!

UCI Rocket Project Solids W25 Member Application
UCI Rocket Project Solids is currently recruiting for the Winter 2025 Quarter. Every major is encouraged to apply (however, we are currently looking for Computer Science and Computer Science & Engineering majors or those with software/coding experience); please follow the instructions below if you are interested!
Project Description:
The UCI Rocket Project Solids team is a highly selective engineering design project specialized in and dedicated to rockets with solid granular propellant. Our team, having already successfully launched and recovered a rocket to 9000+ feet, is currently developing our new competition rocket to participate in this year’s International Rocketry Engineering Competition. Specific position: SEO Coordinator (Sponsorships, Events, Outreach)
Description: Establishes strong networks with sponsors, mentors, and advising industries, maintains community service presence, implements tier sponsorship system and retains patronage commitments, constructs sponsorship email templates and designs sponsorship packages to reduce contact time.

2. Avionics (Software)
Description: Constructs and programs a reliable, dual-redundant recovery system and conducts ejection tests to ensure surefire rocket recovery. Programs and develops ground station to measure and visualize live launch data and record analyze in-flight data.

BMES @ UCI’s Technical Triathlon
The annual BMES competition, the Technical Triathlon, is a fun event to test your knowledge in SOLIDWORKS, MATLAB, and Arduino in a series of challenges in teams of 3 or less.
Cash Prizes: Who doesn’t love some extra CASH? The winner of each track will win $75 per team.
Open to All: No matter your skill level, this competition welcomes students from all majors and academic levels with two competition tracks, basic and advanced!
Free for BMES Project Members: If you’re already part of BMES Project, it is free to compete! If you are not a BMES project member, the fee is $5.
